Sturbridge FREE Summer Concerts-Pucker Rock Band

On a hot summer's evening, what better way to be cool and relax by listening to a FREE concert on the Sturbridge Common. Be sure to bring something to sit on, like a folding chair or a blanket as the concert group plays in the gazebo surrounded by lush green grass where you can plop down and enjoy the show.
The concerts take place each Thursday evening starting at 6pm throughout the summer months. Each week there is a different musical groups for your listening pleasure.

Ribbon Cutting Ceremony: Mole Hollow Candles

Mole Hollow Candles, Ltd. celebrates the Grand Opening of its new Sturbridge location on Thursday, July 29 at noon. The Central Mass Chamber of Commerce will present a ceremonial ribbon cutting to commemorate the official opening of Mole Hollow’s new factory and retail store location on Charlton Road/Rte. 20 in Sturbridge. All are welcome to join us for the ceremonial ribbon-cutting. Light refreshments will be served and factory tours will be offered. The public will have an opportunity to witness candle-dipping and fluting, and view the facility where Mole Hollow creates its high quality pillar, taper and votive candles. For 33 years, craftspeople at Mole Hollow have been making fine candles by hand, combining the finest wax and the finest wicks in stunning colors to bring out the best qualities of appearance and burn in every candle they make.
